Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) recommends Telehealth treatment in instances where it is evidence-based and appropriate for the client. Our Telehealth services have now been extended to ALL clients (near and far) in light of COVID-19 and the strict requirements to adhere to distance measures between the client and therapist.  Rest assured, this treatment format is not new to us, and our clinicians are equipped for Telehealth assessment and treatment. We have already serviced clients in remote areas with a high success rate in the Hunter, Central Coast, South Australia and overseas including Singapore, Canada and the United States.

Where Distance Has No Boundaries

Since moving all of our existing clients over to Telehealth throughout the COVID Pandemic, the families are finding that the children are engaging well and enjoying the treatment process. Our Admin has created an ‘easy to read’ sheet on how to download Zoom or Skype on your computer, smart phone or iPad. During the Telehealth treatment session, we use document sharing for stimulus cards and fun online game reinforcers to help keep your child engaged!  Please know that we’ve got your back and encourage you to give Telehealth a trial.  Continued treatment over this time will promote remediation of the speech or language problem without skipping a beat. Your child will be engaged with the therapy and reinforcements, and we will mentor the parent to help their child, all in a fun and friendly format.  Our results driven team are dedicated to your child’s well-being and improvement of their speech or language goals.
