POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position title: Speech Pathologist
Little Star Speech Therapy is seeking a professional speech pathologist to join our highly regarded team. We are a certified NDIS practice that services both private and NDIS clients. Little Star has developed a strong reputation as a client-centred clinic that goes above and beyond for our clients. Goal setting is cornerstone to our practice, and we value a level of expertise that helps clients achieve their goals in a timely manner. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a director and team of clinicians with expertise.
Our Clinic:
Located in the heart of Beaumont Street surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafes.
Clinic is secured with a pin-locked door for safety and has a bright atmosphere.
Clinic has 5 spacious and beautiful treatment rooms
Well-stocked resource room with the latest assessments, games and toys.
Large reception area with a television for the clients, front desk and EFTPOS facilities
Kitchen has a hot water system, a fridge, microwave
The building has newly renovated washrooms.

Minimum requirements:
Graduate from a Speech Pathology Program (degree)
Demonstrated ability to provide assessment and treatment in a range of speech and language problems
Previous experience working with disability including Autism and other syndromes
High level of organisation and excellent attention to detail
A car licence and willingness to travel to schools and preschools
Sound problem-solving and time-management skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent written skills
Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
Police Certificate
CPR and First Aid Certificate
